Burnout Velvet Kimono // Faux Suede Thick Heeled Sandal // Destroyed American Eagle Jeans // Blush Tank Option //

This Burnout Velvet Kimono is one of my favorite fall pieces and it is less than $50! Plum color velvet is so sophisticated yet flirty! I paired this kimono with a blush layered tank from target which unfortunately is sold out but I’ve linked a few other options for you below. I also paired it with a pair of dark distressed American Eagle Skinny Jeans.

I love this outfit because you can dress it up for a date night or night out on the town with the girls but you can also dress it down with some flat sandals for more comfort. You can also throw this kimono on over a simple dress or shorts and a top. It’s versatility and flowing movement makes this staple piece totally worth the $49!

I hope you guys had an amazing and wonderful weekend! So sad tomorrow is Monday but hey it’s a new week with new goals to accomplish!

There’s just something about a little black leather jacket that makes an outfit! I mean just look at the gorgeous embroidered flowers and silver studs throughout this awesome piece. I love jackets because I’m always cold anytime I go into any restaurant, movie theatre or let’s be real… any building or car with air conditioning. I also love them because depending on the style of the jacket they can dress an outfit up or down. This jacket would be perfect in the middle of winter when its 10 degrees out with some jeans, boots and a sweater underneath.

However, considering its still 98 degrees here in South Carolina, and it’s a tough fall transitioning period in fashion right now I decided to pair it with a cute little romper. Some days it’s just got to be an all black everything kinda day. Black is a must have staple in every favorite piece of clothing in your closet whether it be jeans, shoes, dress, jacket… I could go on for days but you get the picture.

This week has been insanely packed and filled with a lot of good news! I created this website and blog with some help from some amazing friends and family. I also got accepted to “Like To Know It” which I have been following for years now and never thought in a million years I would actually accomplish what it takes to go down this path and be a blogger. So I’m saying Peace Out to a week in the record books and HELLOOOO weekend! Let the fun begin.

XOXO
