First up is this Ukoke Ultrasonic Jewelry Cleaner. I cleaned almost all of my favorite jewelry with this thing the day after Christmas and I love it so much! You can also clean other smaller objects with this all you do is add water. I picked the smaller size but if you want the larger size it is sold out in silver you will have to get it in the white and green color. Also, spotted in this picture and many others below is my favorite new barefoot dreams throw blanket that I am absolutely obsessed with! It is the softest thing every (praise hands emoji)

Second up is my two new favorite pair of Nike shoes from my hubby! The first pair are the Nike Women’s Air Max Motion Running Shoes in white. The second pair are the Nike Women’s Flex Contact Running Shoes in grey and rose gold. All of you should know by now how obsessed I am with rose gold! I’ve worn the fist pair a good bit of times so far but not the second pair yet and neither of them to run or workout yet. I’ve just worn the first pair around leisurely but I love them!

Third on the list is my new favorite anthropologie coffee mug! I kinda have an obsession with coffee mugs and my husband may kill me if I buy anymore. My mom gave this to me as a stocking stuffer on Christmas and I love it so much! You can never have too many coffee mugs haha just like you can never have too much coffee! Obviously the day after Christmas I filled this thing up with hot chocolate and it was so yummy!

Okay ya’ll I am so excited about these books! I have yet to read any of them but I am so excited I don’t know which one to start first! My husband bought me (1.) The Magnolia Story book and he bought the (2.) Capital Gaines book by Chip Gaines for himself to read. My best friend Logan gave me the (3.) Sacred Marriage book because she read the single’s version and gained so much knowledge and comfort she knew I would love the married version. I think this is the one I am going to start reading first because she knows me so well and I know she picked a great book! The last one (4.) Living in the Light: A Daily Devotional is sold out online but our church gave this to each family as a gift at our candlelight church service on Christmas Eve. I am so thankful for our church pastor and community and I can’t wait to read this each and every day.

Number five on the list is this zadro surround light vanity mirror. Another win from my mom this Christmas – She knows me all too well! Internally I have really been wanting a new mirror for my vanity but I hate spending money on stuff like that and I just never mentioned it. Yet somehow a mothers intuition is always on point and she knew exactly what I needed! This two sided mirror has a light all the way around that you can dim as low as you want or turn up as high as you want! This 5X/1X mirror shows you all of your flaws and blemishes which was really scary at first but hey at least it doesn’t lie 😉

I get a lot of compliments and questions about my makeup so I am going to use number six to list some of my favorite makeup must haves! Some of my all time favorite gifts at Christmas are gift cards and I got a ton of them this year- talk about exciting!! I got a few Ulta gift cards and I can’t wait to spend them. Most of my makeup is from Ulta since we just recently got a Sephora in Columbia. Number (1.) is the BECCA X Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette – the perfect highlighter and blush! Number (2.) is the Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer by Too Faced that I actually use as all over powder over my foundation sometimes. Number (3.) is the Born This Way Ethereal Loose Setting Powder by Too Faced that I put on all over every time I finish my makeup. Number (4.) is the Too Faced Shadow Insurance Anti-Crease Eyeshadow Primer that was in my stocking but I have used it twice so far and love it! It is so soft and creamy. Number (5.) is the Tarte Double Duty Beauty Shape Tape Contour Concealer and ya’ll I absolutely live by this stuff! I wear it every single day under my eye’s and it will hide any dark circles! Number (6.) is the Too Faced Natural Eyes Neutral Eyeshadow Palette and it is one of my favorite eyeshadow palettes yet! Number (7.)  is the Benefit Cosmetics – They’re Real Black Mascara that I normally use on a daily basis and love but I just recently received a small travel pack size (8.) Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Super Curling & Lifting Mascara in my stocking and I have used it twice and shockingly love it! I am pretty picky with mascaras but I love most all of benefits products and this new mascara is amazing! Lastly, number (9.) is the quick and easy Benefit – Gimme Brow Volumizing Eyebrow Gel that I use everyday as well. This gel is for an everyday look – however when I want a more dramatic look for photoshoots I fill them in extra on top of the gel with some dark eyeshadow. Also this gel link is for the brunette eyebrows, if you are blonde you’ll need to use this color gel.

Second to last is this amazing Elisa Pendant Kendra Scott Necklace in rose gold of course. I love this dainty yet classy necklace so much! I’ve already worn it twice and have received so many compliments on it.

She sent me (1.)  No. 3 Balancing Charcoal Facial Mask , (2.) Dew Skin Moisturizing Coverage that I absolutely love and (3.) Countermatch Eye Rescue Cream which I can’t wait to try!

I hope you all enjoyed this recap of gifts and I hope you all love them as much as I do! I will list a bunch of these and more below! Enjoy!

I hope everyone had a very amazing Christmas! I can’t believe in just less than a week it will be 2018! That’s why I wanted to share a last minute NYE outfit with you all and most of this outfit is on sale right now! This sequin maxi skirt is by far one of my favorite pieces yet and you can pair it with just about any top and it is currently 50% off along with everything else on the site, but hurry because today is the last day! I paired it with one of my favorite nude bodysuits that I’ve had since last season so I can’t link the exact one but I will link a few of my favorites below. I dressed this outfit up a little with a warm wine fur coat that comes in 3 other colors and a black velvet crossbody purse that is also half off! This black velvet crossbody is originally $24.90 but is currently on sale for $12.45 and if you use the code EXTRA30 at checkout it will only be $8.71! Or just use code EXTRA30 at checkout for 30% off any item in your cart at Forever21. You all know how much I love bringing you a good sale.

For accessories I decided to keep it simple yet classy. I paired this outfit with a pair of simple nude patent leather pointed toe heel. Along with a pair of dark grey tassel earrings and a shiny grey chocker necklace. For sizing references I am wearing a size XS in the express sequin maxi skirt. I am normally a size Small in other clothes but I always usually size down in Express – especially with high waisted zip up skirts. I love the squared sequin pattern throughout this maxi skirt and the slit up the front with a small lining underneath leaves the bottom half sheer.

What is everyone’s New Year’s Eve plans!? I love hearing about all of the fun parties and events that everyone attends! This year, like many others, my hubby has to work night shift (ohh the life of a cop wife). We’ve never really had fancy New Years Eve plans in the past 4 years we’ve celebrated together but as long as I get a kiss when he comes home safe I am perfectly content! That being said, I do really miss dressing up and counting down the New Year with everyone. I’ve never been one for big crowds but I’ve always wanted to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Time Square one year. I mean come on who doesn’t!? Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this outfit as much as I do! Hurry fast because the pieces are selling out fast with all of these amazing sales going on!

Shine Bright Pajama Set

Happy holidays everyone! One of my favorite things to do this time of year is to light some Christmas candles, cozy up by the fire with a cup of hot chocolate and watch Hallmark Christmas movies! If you’re like me and have watched them year after year but you’re tired of watching the same ones over and over again (sadly, I never do get tired of it) then pop your favorite holiday movie in instead. My husband and I’s favorite holiday movie is The Grinch – yes we recite every word just like Jim Carrey.  When the weather outside is frightful, I am all about comfort, the warmest and comfiest clothes are all I want! With that being said, I’ve gathered up a few of my favorite comfy and cozy items for you guys! Whether it be for you or a gift for someone special these items will not disappoint! Hey there babes! I wanted to take a second to write about a little something close to my heart today. As the holiday’s grow closer I have found myself fighting the same old everyday, materialistic gift urge. My birthday is also growing closer and my husband keeps asking me what I want and I’ve found it very hard to find an answer for him. We have been through many different ups and downs this past year as I’m sure many of you have too. With the year coming to an end I keep thinking more and more about what Christmas and the holidays are all about. Yes, I could easily send my husband a list of materialistic items for him to go out and buy, but honestly that could not be further from what I want or need in my life right now. Granted, when children come into the picture, I’m sure that list will be full of toys for them! And no… I’m not pregnant… calm down Mother!

With that being said, I’m going to be real with everyone and say that what I feel like I need, along with most of society right now, is a breath of fresh air, an eye opener and most of all, to be humbled. I will be the first to admit that it is so hard not to get wrapped up in the materialistic wants and needs of everyday life. However, when it comes down to it – money can’t buy happiness and my happiness is out in nature exploring the world with this hunk of a hubby by my side! I mean just look at at those arms (insert heart eye emoji).

I spoke with one of my best friends today about all of my trials, more like vented to, but hey what are best friends for and she reminded me of the real meaning of Christmas. She just got back from a week in Ecuador where they have no electricity, clean water or even shoes. She said to me “What if you guys did a service instead of material items, for instance serve at a soup kitchen or sponsor a families Christmas dinner or get presents for a child off of a wish tree.” As soon as I heard that I had the biggest smile come across my face, I could not have heard a better response from her. I am so beyond blessed with God, family, friends, a house to live in and shoes on my feet! Okay fine… lot’s of shoes! But sometimes we forget how good we really have it and that there are many people out there who have it worse off than we do.

That’s why I’ve partnered with Matchback.org, a giving brand working to promote the self confidence of teens-in-need. With their “Buy One, We Give One” model – for every apparel bundle sold, they donate an apparel bundle to an underprivileged teen. Each month they collaborate with a new organization to design a new shirt + hat bundle but their signature collection is “Look Good, Feel Good, Do Good!” To be completely honest with you when this company reached out to me about a month ago, I thought oh well they have pretty cool apparel and it’s for a good cause so yeah why not! But after the past few weeks I have a new found appreciation for organizations, big and small, who commit all of their time and raise funds for anyone in need all year long, not just during the holiday season! That is what we, as a society, should be doing is helping each other and building each other up. Not constantly trying to compare and compete with one another with who can have the best of the best. Because let’s be honest, no matter what we perceive on the outside, everyone has their own internal struggles and tribulations.

With all of that being said I hope you all can go out this holiday season and spread a little bit of joy to one another whether it be a gift, a meal or even just a smile. It’s the little things in life that really matter and can create change in the world as we know it. I hope this touched your heart even just a little as much as it has been weighing on mine. I am so thankful for all of your constant love and support!

XOXO
